Greg Calverase is the managing director of Boot Camps at 2U, Inc. Previously, he was Trilogy’s chief operating officer overseeing ongoing business operations within the company with specific emphasis on the company's field operations, functional operations, and career services offerings.

Calverase is an accomplished, well-rounded and innovative leader with 20 years of educational business experience. He has held numerous positions in general management and operational support, managing highly diversified portfolios for Kaplan Inc, a Graham Holdings company. He has a successful track record of turning around struggling businesses, growing established markets and driving strong performance in strategy, operations, marketing, academics, sales, P&L management, technology and people development.

Prior to starting and subsequently selling a small craft beer venture in Florida, Calverase was the SVP and GM of Kaplan's Higher Education Campuses, a business with 38 campuses and over $250M in revenue. He was responsible for integrating that business into the Kaplan Higher Education Group, stabilizing struggling performance and preparing the business for acquisition by Education Corporation of America in early 2015. Prior to this, Calverase held GM roles of increasing scope within the Kaplan Test Prep division as the area director of Indiana, the regional director of Great Lakes, the regional vice president of California and the territory vice president of the NYC metropolitan market. He was a catalyst for significant change in a wide variety of company-wide initiatives including the centralization and systematization of inventory management, the transformation of lead generation activities on college campuses, the shift to a variable cost classroom model, and an increased focus on academic quality across the organization.
