
TC Fleming is Interim Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at 2U, where he leads the company’s financial strategy, corporate finance, and accounting. Prior to joining the executive team, Fleming served on 2U’s Board of Directors as Audit Committee Chair, helping guide the company’s governance and capital structure.
Fleming brings more than 15 years of financial and operational leadership experience across software, data, and technology-enabled businesses. He has served in CFO roles at Apprentice.io, Aetion, and 1010data. At 1010data, he helped drive 10x annual recurring revenue growth and the company’s successful exit for more than $500M. At Apprentice.io, he established the financial and operating foundation that helped position the company toward cash flow breakeven. At Aetion, he built a sponsor-grade forecasting and reporting cadence to support scaled growth and capital planning. Across his career, Fleming has led multiple capital raises, commercial model redesigns, and M&A.
In addition to his role at 2U, Fleming serves as a Senior Advisor at Norwest, where he supports portfolio companies during early post-investment and FO transition moments by improving cash flow and forecast accuracy, strengthening board reporting, and establishing operating cadence and accountability.
Fleming holds an MBA from New York University Stern School of Business and earned BBA degrees in Accountancy and Computer Applications from the University of Notre Dame. He also completed the Strategic Financial Leadership Program at Stanford Graduate School of Business.
