The Online Executive MPA from Syracuse University's Top-Ranked Maxwell School
Founded in 1924, Syracuse University's Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs was the first school in the United States to offer graduate professional degrees in public administration. Its programs' quality, rigor, and diverse student communities have helped the school retain its top ranking for a graduate program in public affairs in the nation by U.S. News & World Report since the rankings began.
Beginning in July 2017, the Maxwell School will offer ExecutiveMPA@Syracuse, its Executive Master of Public Administration (EMPA) degree program delivered online. Please inform usif you would like to be notified when information becomes available.
Designed for midcareer professionals, Maxwell's online EMPA program prepares managers for the challenges of leading organizations in the government, public, and nonprofit sectors in the midst of global change. Students will learn to identify and fill current gaps in their skills or knowledge, prepare for future management and policy challenges, or refocus their career plans.
The 30-credit program will bring students together online for live classes taught by Maxwell School professors. Students will complete dynamic course content and collaborate closely with classmates around the world. ExecutiveMPA@Syracuse upholds the same curricular and admissions standards as its on-campus counterpart, and graduates will receive the same diploma as those who attend on campus.
