Lorrin Ortiz Mena

As VP of enterprise business development, Lorrin is responsible for accelerating the expansion of 2U's corporate and association partnerships. With more than two decades of marketing, global development, and management experience in the education industry—including leadership positions at Cerebellum Corporation, where she launched and distributed an award-winning PBS series, and at Educate Inc as the vice president of global retail sales for Hooked on Phonics—Lorrin has always been focused on building strong teams, identifying and operationalizing new opportunities, and developing key relationships to drive growth.
Lorrin holds a BA in Psychology from The University of Delaware and an MBA from the Kogod School of Business at American University. She has two children and resides in San Diego, CA, where when not enjoying the sunshine, she is active with Ronald McDonald House, Feeding San Diego, Meals on Wheels, and Interfaith Community Services.
