At 2U, we are all in on purpose. We are motivated by our mission – to eliminate the back row in education – and connected by our shared passion to deliver world-class digital education at scale. As the parent company of edX, the world’s leading online learning platform, 2U powers more than 4,000 online higher education offerings – from free courses to full degrees. Together with more than 230 colleges, universities, and corporate partners, we are helping to unlock human potential.

What We’re Looking For:

The Go-to-Market (GTM) Enablement team is a strategic partner to our Enterprise organization, dedicated to accelerating revenue growth. We are the force multiplier for the GTM teams, equipping them with the essential skills, knowledge, tools, and content they need to win in a competitive market. By developing world-class onboarding, continuous training programs, and high-impact collateral, we directly impact productivity, quota attainment, and overall GTM success.

The Manager of GTM Enablement leads this critical function, shaping the strategy and execution of programs that make our entire GTM team more effective. This leader will manage a team focused on building and scaling programs that empower our team to close deals faster and more efficiently.

Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:

  • Drive GTM Effectiveness: Lead and mentor a team of GTM Enablement specialists, fostering a performance-oriented culture obsessed with success and continuous improvement.
  • Build the GTM Enablement Roadmap: Develop and execute a strategic enablement roadmap that is directly aligned with GTM leadership priorities and revenue goals. This includes designing, building, and scaling high-impact programs (e.g., new hire onboarding, skills training, product launch readiness, and sales methodology).
  • Boost Productivity: Identify and eliminate barriers to productivity. Partner directly with GTM leaders and frontline reps to diagnose performance gaps and deliver targeted solutions (coaching, content, or process improvements) that drive measurable results.
  • Own Winning Sales Content: Manage the entire collateral lifecycle—from creation to delivery. Ensure our GTM teams have easy access to compelling, on-brand content (pitch decks, case studies, battlecards, and competitive intelligence) that moves deals forward.
  • Implement Performance-Driven Programs: Design and deploy targeted enablement initiatives—from new plays to competitive positioning—that directly influence rep behavior and improve key metrics (e.g., win rates, deal velocity, and average deal size).
  • Measure Business Impact: Define and track key enablement KPIs (e.g., time to ramp, quota attainment, tool adoption, and content engagement). Continuously measure the business impact of our programs and technology, providing actionable insights to GTM leadership.

Things That Should Be In Your Background:

  • 4+ years of experience in enablement, revenue operations, or a similar role with a direct impact on sales performance.
  • 3+ years of experience managing complex, cross-functional GTM projects (e.g., sales kickoffs, product launches, or new sales tech rollouts).
  • 1+ year of experience leading and developing a high-performing team.
  • A proven track record of improving GTM team productivity and driving revenue in a recurring revenue (SaaS, subscription) business.

Other Attributes That Will Help You In This Role:

  • Deep Empathy for GTM teams: You understand the challenges sellers face and are passionate about making them wildly successful.
  • Executive Presence: You can confidently partner with and influence senior leaders, presenting your strategy and results with clarity.
  • A Bias for Action: You are a natural problem-solver who can navigate ambiguity and drive complex initiatives from strategy to execution.
  • Data-Driven: You have a data-driven mindset and experience measuring effectiveness, using KPIs to tell a story and drive decisions.
  • Exceptional Program Management: You can manage multiple high-stakes projects simultaneously without letting details slip.
  • Adaptable: You thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and can adapt to shifting priorities.
  • Global Mindset: You have experience working effectively with diverse, global teams.
