Enterprise Content Writer

What We’re Looking For:

We are seeking a dynamic Enterprise Content Writer to join the edX Enterprise team. As the Field Marketing Lead, you will be responsible for planning, researching, developing and writing sales and marketing copy that drive engagement and market 2U's Enterprise offerings. Research markets and industries to compare and create content that is innovative and original. Collaborate with sales, creative teams, and designers on ideas and strategies to become the voice of the customer. Create compelling and informative blogs, articles, ads, email, social media content, content for banners, product descriptions, case studies, white papers, company bios, and landing pages.

Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:

1. Thought Leadership/Content

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and industry thought leaders to produce thought-provoking and insightful content pieces, such as white papers, research papers, and blog articles.
  • Coordinate and facilitate events, webinars, and podcasts to engage our target audience and position our company as a thought leader in executive education.
  • Take ownership of the company's blog, ensuring regular updates with relevant and engaging content that addresses the interests and needs of our audience

2. Content Strategy

  • Identify and prioritize content needs based on audience insights, market trends, and sales and marketing objectives. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather insights and translate them into compelling content that effectively communicates the value of our product offerings.
  • Partner closely with the Brand Team to ensure consistent brand messaging and tone across all content channels and touchpoints.

3. Enterprise Positioning

  • Develop a deep understanding of our target audience, their pain points, and the industry landscape to position our company as a trusted and innovative leader in the Enterprise Content market. 
  • Craft persuasive messaging and compelling stories that highlight the unique value and impact of our offerings to key stakeholders, including HR professionals, L&D practitioners, and executives

4. Resource Management

  • Identify, source and manage a team of industry experts responsible for producing regular thought leadership pieces, ensuring high-quality and timely deliverables. 
  • Work closely with the Communications team to align content strategies with PR and Analyst activities, ensuring consistent messaging and maximum exposure.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to gather insights, feedback, and input for content development

Things That Should Be In Your Background:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field
  • Approximately 6 years or more working experience in Content Marketing, EdTech, Product Marketing and/or Learning & Development roles
  • Curious about the future of work, careers, talent development and EdTech
  • Demonstrating the capacity to connect seemingly disparate dots by analyzing data and uncovering insights, and then crafting a compelling narrative to effectively communicate the story.
  • Excellent writing, communication and presentation skills
  • Stakeholder relationship management experience
  • Being comfortable with ambiguity, pressure and being able to work flexibly and independently are essential
